Join host Cara Lisa Berg Powers and other Worcester area supporters in welcoming Mike to town. Stop by after work for some food, drink, and lively political discussion. A cash bar and pub menu will be available, and we'll be discussing ways for people to get involved in this exciting campaign!
The Hibernian Cultural Centre and Fiddler's Green will be opening extra special just for us, so we want to ask people to please show them some support for all of their support of political discourse in Worcester and partake in a light dinner from their excellent pub menu.
Mike Lake will lead the Auditor's office into the 21st century with his vision and by leveraging his managerial experience in the public, non-profit and private sectors. Mike's work experience and education are a testament to his drive and leadership. Mike was appointed Special Assistant for White House Operations by President Bill Clinton and served as Director of Development for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay & Merrimack Valley. He currently works as the Executive Director of the World Class Cities Partnership at Northeastern University, where he brings together business, civic and academic leaders from around the world to identify and exchange evidence-based solutions to the challenges facing government.
