Boston – The campaign of Mike Lake, Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor for Massachusetts, received another endorsement Wednesday from Bob Crane, the longest serving state treasurer in Massachusetts history.
Crane applauded the campaign and credited Lake for keeping the issues at the center of the public’s attention.
“I am proud of our endorsement of Mike Lake for Lt. Governor,” Crane said. “In my decades of experience in public service, I have come across many public servants and politicians, and Mike stands out for his passion, commitment to community, energy and ideas. I am pleased to endorse him.”
Lake said he was humbled to have Crane’s support.
“I am proud to have the endorsement of Crane. He is a tried and tested politician and Massachusetts treasure. I couldn’t be more honored to have his support.”
A former Clinton appointee, Lake is the President and CEO of Leading Cities. He launched his campaign for Lieutenant Governor in March 2013 and has amassed support from activists, business leaders, labor unions, social justice organizations and government leaders, including former Governor Michael Dukakis.
